So I found this great website and thought I would pass it along. www.allrecipes.com. You can create a “cook’s profile”, post recipes, post pictures of your attempts at recipes on the site, save enticing recipes to an online recipe box, and rate the submissions of others. For instance, I found this recipe and thought I would try it, until I scrolled down and read all the horrible reviews. Not a good one in the bunch! Passed on that one. People also leave helpful hints. Yesterday I made “Clone of a Cinnabon” (cinnamon rolls). I read through all the reviews and hints from others that had tried and it saved me a few novice mistakes. And, by the way, the Cinnamon Rolls were awesome! They were scarfed in an evening (had company for dinner), so I made another batch this morning that are now safely tucked away in the freezer. I gave Conner some dough so he could help “coot”. Another nice feature of the site is the ingredient search feature. I have seen other sites that allow you to look for recipes that include a certain ingredient, but this one allows up to three in one search, and allows up to three exclusions for the same search. That could be so handy. Happy Cooking!
