Hmmm…….have you ever tried to sum yourself up with a few short words? Not so many words that people feel like there is nothing left to learn, but not so few that they are bored with you already. Troubling task. I’ll give it a go.

I am a 26 year-old gal, wife, mother, daughter, sister. This is to include homemaker, seamstress, housekeeper, cook, accountant, sounding-board, and hostess. I’ve been called “Martha Jo”, which is a vast overstatement. I love my life and am one truly blessed woman. God has given me so much. I have the greatest husband in the world, the best kids, and am thankful everyday for it all. I am surrounded by wonderful family and friends. Clint & I will celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary this Christmas. A card we once received said that “Love is friendship lifted up to the light.” I love that. I try to look for the joy in the things around me. Trust me, it’s there. Even in the fact that I am having to type this with one hand since the baby I am holding is fussy and, to be quite honest, has just spit-up on me. Joy? She’s smiling now.
